WELCOME TO TRI-TOWN YOUTH BASKETBALL!!!
Tri-Town Youth Basketball will be kicking off its third season this winter. The league has grown each year as more and more kids from the towns of Wayland, Weston, Lincoln and Hanscom Air Force Base discover the fun of playing in a more recreational league where boys and girls, in grades 3 - 8, of all abilities, can participate. All children who register are placed on teams; all players on teams play an equal amount in games. The Tri-Town season is structured around once a week practices that take place during a week night and games that take place on Saturdays. Teams are coached by parent volunteers. The season concludes with playoffs. All teams make the playoffs.

The league is comprised of youth basketball teams, boys and girls, grades 3 - 8, in the towns of Lincoln, Wayland, Weston and from Hanscom Air Force base.
Last year we had approximately 600 kids in our program and fielded about 60 teams in all age groups, for both boys and girls.
Our primary objective is to offer a recreational and instructional environment where kids can learn and play the game of basketball. Our league is structured around Saturday games in the months of December, January and February, with playoff games in March. However at all times, competition takes a back seat to principles of equal playing time for all participants and providing an environment where kids who have never played the game feel safe in trying.

REGISTRATION FOR 2010-2011 IS NOW OPEN
The cost of registration for participation in this league is $115. To register your child, please click on the "Register Online" tab to the left. A $25 late fee is applied after November 1, 2010. The fee includes a reversible jersey and attendance at the end-of-the-season WYB Pizza Party.
EVALUATIONS FOR THE 2010-2011 SEASON
Evaluations for team placement will take place on Sunday, October 17th. For further details, go to the "Tri-Town Evaluations" tab on the left. All kids who want to play in the Tri-Town league must attend the evaluation session, even those kids who tried out for a MetroWest team.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS
Parents are encouraged to become involved with this new league by volunteering to coach or help in other capacities. If you wish to get involved, please check the appropriate box on the registration form and/or contact WYB using the "Contact WYB" tab on the left.
